- Where can Profhilo® be used?
It can be used in the Face, Neck, and Decolletage. On the body it can treat the Hands, Upper Arms and above the Knees.
- What results can I expect?
A course of Profhilo® involves two injectable treatments spaced four weeks apart. You can expect to see a gradual intense hydration, improvement in lines and tightness of your skin. After eight weeks is when you will see the most improvement with a lifting and tightening of the skin – it is more hydrated and appears more youthful and in better health. Some patients have reported an immediate improvement after treatment. Overall, you can expect increased firmness, elasticity and an overall improved quality of skin, with the effects lasting up to six months or longer.
- Are there any side effects?
As with any injectable product there is always a risk of bruising. There may be some bumps, swelling or erythema at the injection sites which normally resolves in a few hours. In some cases this may last for around 24 hrs.
- What should you not do after Profhilo?
After the treatment, it is recommended to avoid physical strain and sports for 24 hours. Please also avoid having further cosmetic procedures for 48 hours. It is not recommended to have sauna or steamy bath for the first few days either. It’s best to stay out of the sun if any bruising or prolonged swelling occurs.
- Can Profhilo be used under eyes?
While Profhilo is not injected directly around the eye area, Profhilo under eyes treatment is one of our most requested places to treat. When injected lower down the face, Prohilo can dramatically smooth the eye area with less downtime than most under-eye laser treatments.
- What is rejuran PDRN treatment?
Rejuran Healer is a rejuvenating skin treatment made of biological molecules called polynucleotides (PN). A PN molecule is a biopolymer made up of 13 or more nucleotide monomers bonded together. If nucleotides sound familiar, it is because you probably heard about it in biology class – nucleotides are the basic structural units which make up DNA! The DNA extract in Rejuran Healer is obtained from salmon, then fragmented into PNs.
- What benefits does rejuran healer have?
Rejuran PN/PDRN’s healing properties have several beneficial effects on the skin:
- Improved skin elasticity
- Improved Hydration
- Reduced fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin repair – with improved skin barrier function
- Skin normalization – thickening of skin, regulation of oil production
- Improved skin tone
- Improved skin texture
- What should you not do after using Rejuran?
Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol. Like the effects of steam on the skin, strenuous exercise like running can trigger the sweat glands to produce copious amounts of sebum, leading to excess sebum and thus create a counter-effect on skin boosters like Rejuran Healer or Profhilo.
- Can do facial after Rejuran?
Rejuran can be used for the whole face (Rejuran Healer), eyes (Rejuran-I), acne scars (Rejuran-S). The difference between the 3 is in the concentration / formulation; with much thought put into what the skin needs most at that particular area / concern, for maximum result
- Can Rejuran cause blindness?
Unlike fillers, Rejuran injections do not cause unintended tissue necrosis (tissue death) or blindness.

Some results will be noticeable immediately following treatment, but will continue to improve over the course of a month

Volite is an innovative injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality for up to 9 months. This is not a dermal filler, it’s a skin conditioning Hyaluronic acid (HA) gel. Volite is injected into the middle layers of the dermis across many sites to nourish it from the inside out.

Avoid direct / prolonged exposure to sunlight or sunbeds for the first few weeks before and after treatment.ALWAYS wear sunscreen, and certainly after your treatment.
- Can I wear make-up after the peel treatment?
For the first 24 hours, do not apply make-up to your skin because of the risk of infection, clogged pores, reducing the effectiveness of the peel.
- Can I have a chemical peel in the summer (concerning hyperpigmentation)?
Yes, apart from retinol peels, all peels are not sensitive to the skin. Therefore, when combined with the right @home skincare products, they can be used safely 365 days a year.
- Is microdermabrasion painful?
Microdermabrasion is a very comfortable, non invasive skin treatment. Most clients feel very little to no pain during their treatment. The sensation when having a microdermabrasion treatment can be compared to that of an exfoliating scrub combined with a light facial massage.
- How many microdermabrasion treatments will I need?
Depending on your skin concerns and severity of your condition, the number of treatments required will vary. A starter course of between 5-8 treatments followed by refresher courses every few months may be required. We recommend that you come in for a complimentary paramedical skin consultation where one of our dermal therapists can determine the best ‘in clinic’ and home care regime for pre and post treatment and ongoing skin maintenance. For more dramatic results, a customised chemical peel may be combined with a microdermabrasion treatment to accelerate and prolong results.
- How exactly does Microdermabrasion work?
Microdermabrasion is a superficial treatment that uses 3 methods simultaneously to help reduce the appearance of unsightly skin conditions such as:
- Acne
- Acne scarring
- Blocked or congested pores
- Blackheads and white heads
- Enlarged pores
- Superficial pigmentation
- Fine lines
- Uneven texture and skin tone
- The 3 methods include:
- Exfoliation Mechanism (using a diamond tip). The diamond encrusted tip strategically glides over the treatment area providing exfoliation even in sensitive and smaller areas such as the face, as well as large areas such as the back and shoulders.
- Vacuum Mechanism: The multi-control vacuum provides versatile suction to:
- Remove dulling dead skin cells
- Unblock pores
- Relieve clogging and congestion
- Increase circulation supporting oxygenation, nutrient delivery and accelerated repair.
- Lymphatic Drainage: Specific gliding techniques combined with vacuum suction increase the flow and natural detoxification of the lymphatic system, aiding systemic toxin and pathogen removal.
- What are the potential side effects of microdermabrasion treatment?
The lack of side effects and potentially low risk of microdermabrasion treatment is one of the reasons it is one of the most popular, non-invasive skin treatments performed in the world. Compared to other skin and cosmetic treatments, microdermabrasion has the least amount of side effects versus results and you can usually return to normal activity right away meaning little to no downtime. The most common side effects are mild to moderate redness, minor skin flaking and in some cases a mild breakout.
- Which parts of my body can I treat with Microdermabrasion?
Most assume that you can only have a microdermabrasion treatment on the face, however it is not uncommon to treat areas such as the back, shoulders, chest, upper arms and buttocks. In fact, we can develop acne on any part of the body (excluding the palms of our hands and the soles of our feet). For this reason we can treat almost any part of your body with microdermabrasion, and we have different sized tips to accommodate for small to even large areas.
Our medical microdermabrasion results in more dramatic, lasting improvement for skin conditions such as:
- Acne
- Acne scarring
- Blocked or congested pores
- Enlarged pores
- Superficial pigmentation
- Blackheads and whiteheads
- What exactly are exosomes?
Exosome treatments are great for clients looking to prevent or repair the signs of aging and are hypoallergenic and safe for all types of skin! So if you are looking for the latest proven method to regenerate your skin, reduce wrinkles and age spots, firm and tighten the skin, look no further.
- How do exosomes work?
Exosomes work as envelopes, carrying messenger RNA to other cells, they carry healthy and lost information and insert this to target cells. Exosomes released by young stem cells have shown to be very powerful in regulating regenerative processes in the body and assisting in rejuvenation.
- How long does exosome therapy last?
Once you experience your results, you can expect them to last anywhere from six to nine months. Scheduling additional treatments once your results wear off can help you experience additional benefits and promote further regeneration and healing.
- Do exosomes really work?
What Do Exosomes Do Really Work? Exosome therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that helps rejuvenate older stem cells with new, younger stem cells. This treatment works so well because it relies on the healing and regenerative properties of the human body to generate some powerful anti-aging and healing results.
- What are exosome facials?
You may have heard about the topical exosome face creams celebrities use to stay looking young. The treatment takes this a step further by incorporating microneedling to infuse exosomes, hyaluronic acid, and peptides into the skin for a much more potent regenerative effect.
